Large parts of Lehigh Acres, Alva, Golden Gate Estates and North Fort Myers run on private wells. When the pressure drops or the pump short-cycles, the fix is usually a pressure tank or switch, not a new pump — and knowing the difference saves you a lot of money.

What this covers

  • Well pump troubleshooting and replacement
  • Pressure tank replacement
  • Pressure switch and gauge repair
  • Short-cycling and low-pressure diagnosis
  • Constant-pressure system service
  • Well-to-house line repairs

How we handle it

  1. 1

Diagnose whether it is the pump, the tank or the switch.

  2. 2

Give you the repair cost against the replacement cost.

  3. 3

Replace with equipment sized to the well, not the cheapest unit on the shelf.

  4. 4

Test pressure and cycle time before we leave.

Questions

Well Equipment Repair — straight answers.

My pump keeps turning on and off. Is it dying?

Usually not. Rapid short-cycling is almost always a waterlogged pressure tank that has lost its air charge. Replacing the tank is far cheaper than pulling a pump.

Do you drill wells?

No. We service and replace the equipment — pumps, tanks, switches and lines. Drilling is a separate licensed trade.
