Privacy Policy

Cardinal Plumbing Solutions LLC (“we,” “us”) is a plumbing contractor serving Southwest Florida. This policy explains what information we collect through this website and by phone, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to schedule and perform plumbing work, we do not sell it, and you can ask us to correct or delete it at any time.

What we collect

Information you give us. When you submit the service request form, we receive the fields you fill in: your name, phone number, email address, service address and city, property type, the service you need, any preferred day and time, and your description of the problem. When you call us, we receive your phone number and whatever you tell us about the job.

Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of each request, for security and to keep the site running. We also use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to count visits; see “Cookies and analytics” below.

The form includes a hidden field that people never see or fill in. It exists only to catch automated spam and collects nothing from you.

How we use it

• To respond to your request, schedule a visit, and prepare an estimate.
• To perform the plumbing work you hire us for, including permits and inspections where required.
• To invoice you and keep the business records Florida law and our license require.
• To follow up about the work we did for you, including asking for a review.
• To protect the site and our business from fraud and abuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

How it is sent and stored

When you submit the form, the information is emailed to our business inbox through a transactional email provider. It is not stored in a database on this website. If a technical problem prevents that email from sending, the submission is written to our hosting provider’s private function logs so your request is not lost, and the page asks you to call us instead.

We keep job records, including your contact information and service address, for as long as we need them to service warranties, answer questions about past work, and meet our recordkeeping obligations as a licensed contractor. You can ask us to delete information we no longer need for those purposes.

Service providers

We use a small number of companies to operate this site and our business. Each receives only what it needs to do its job:

• Website hosting serves these pages and processes the request form.
• Transactional email delivers form submissions to our inbox.
• Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the font files are requested.
• Google Business Profile. Links on this site may take you to Google to read or leave a review. Anything you do there is governed by Google’s privacy policy, not ours.
• Payments. If you pay by card or Venmo, the payment is processed by that provider under its own privacy policy. We do not store full card numbers. Checks and cash are recorded on your invoice only.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the safety of a person or property.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not set cookies. We use Vercel Web Analytics, provided by our hosting company, to count visits in aggregate: which pages are viewed, the site or search that sent you here, and your general browser, device type and country. It does not use cookies, does not follow you to other websites, and does not tell us who you are. We also count, without any personal details, when someone taps our phone number and when a service request is sent, so we know which pages bring in calls and requests.

Text messages and calls

If you give us your phone number, we may call or text you about your service request, an appointment, or a job in progress. We do not send marketing text messages. Reply STOP to any text from us and we will stop texting that number, or tell us by phone or email.

Your choices

• Access or correction. Email us and we will tell you what we have on file and correct anything that is wrong.
• Deletion. Ask and we will delete your information, except records we are required to keep for tax, licensing, warranty or legal reasons.
• Review requests. Tell us if you would rather not be asked for a review and we will note it.

Children

This site is for property owners and managers. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to our email and business systems is limited to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so please call rather than use the form for anything you consider sensitive.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the date at the top. Changes apply going forward.
