Burst pipe? Sewage backup? No water? We answer 24 hours a day, Monday through Saturday.
(239) 318-0534Between hard municipal water and iron-and-sulfur well water, Southwest Florida is hard on plumbing and harder on fixtures. Filtration is not a luxury item here — it is what stops your next water heater from failing early.

Questions
Water Filtration & Softeners — straight answers.
Do I need a softener on city water here?
Often, yes. Municipal water in this region is treated but still hard. If you are seeing scale on fixtures and shower doors, your water heater is seeing the same thing on the inside.
What about rotten-egg smell on well water?
That is hydrogen sulfide, and a standard softener will not fix it. It needs an aeration or oxidizing filter sized to the concentration, which is why we test first.
